The Role

 

We are looking for a temporary EDC Coordinator to aid our sites during our busy vaccine season starting at the end of August 2024 for 3-8 months. Reporting to the Director of Vaccine Strategy, this role will be responsible for ensuring all visit data has been documented accurately per study protocol and entering the data into the EDC portal within 24 hours of each visit for vaccine studies across multiple Headlands Research sites. The role does require flexibility, as there is the potential for weekend work.

Type: Temporary (3-8 months), full-time (but willing to consider experienced candidates preferring as few as 20 to as many as 40 hours per week.

Schedule: Mondays through Fridays, regular business hours, and occassional weekend work.

Reports to: Director of Vaccine Strategy

Pay Range: $25-30/hr, depending on experience and location

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Review all visit data has been documented per protocol for each trial, including progress notes to ensure correct ages/study/histories have been appropriately documented
  • Enter visit data into EDC portal according to eCRF guidelines and within 24 hours of each visit
  • Keep aprised of all protocols for each study, including study updates
  • Answer all data queries generated by the sponsor by reviewing queries with the study coordinator and investigator
  • Update all data queries generated by a monitor by communicating with study coordinator and ensuring source has been properly corrected 
  • Ensure that all phone and ediary visits are entered into EDC
  • Maintain spreadsheets for all completions/non completions and protocol deviations
  • Ensure that data captured is within protocol window or work to ensure study coordinators respond appropriately 

 

 

Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of and experience using CRIO for CTMS highly preferred
  • Must be tech-savvy and a quick-learner.
  • Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and organizational skills 
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize accuracy while also maintaining efficiency
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced remote environment
  • Must be willing to work occassional weekend hours.
  • Must be willing and able to work a temporary position, anywhere from 3-8 months, depending on ongoing needs.
