Position Summary

Amerit Fleet Solutions, one of the leading fleet maintenance companies in the U.S., is looking to hire an experienced Account Manager to join our growing team! The Account Manager partners with our customers and ensure their long-term success. The Account Manager's role is to manage a portfolio of assigned customers with fleet assets under a maintenance agreement, manage the day-to-day requests, reporting, relationships, and account performance while seeking opportunities to grow.

 

Compensation: Competitive Salary Pay - Paid weekly, every Friday! Salary range $110-120k with the potential account manager bonus.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Key contact for account relationships and/or managed service provider relationships
  • Understanding of opportunity qualification and forecasting labor headcount
  • Consistently tracking labor headcount, labor changes and updates
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profit
  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
  • Clearly communicate the progress of weekly/monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
  • Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to exceed sales quotas
  • Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
  • Prepare reports on account status and be able to speak to the data with customers
  • Identify and grow opportunities within territory and collaborate with sales teams to ensure growth attainment
  • Assist with high severity requests or issue escalations as needed
  • Monday – Friday (Flexible and home based with travel as needed)
  • Travel – up to 50% of time

Key Competencies and Minimum Education

  • Maintenance root cause analysis and Maintenace back ground
  • Proven work experience as an account manager, key account manager, junior account manager or other relevant experience
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including the field, executive and C-level
  • Solid experience with CRM software and MS Office (particularly MS Excel)
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
  • Proven ability to manage multiple account management projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Must be a self-starter and can work independently
  • BA/BS degree in Business Administration or relevant field
  • Fleet maintenance or automotive industry experience a plus
